A custom order for Pace Collection"s popular "Mezzaluna" desk features the brand"s signature exotic veneers and highly polished stainless steel accents. The design, by Leon Rosen, has a semicircular shape with 90 cutouts at either corner and the center that branch into the legs of the piece. This example replaces the customary steel frame with a bookmatched lacewood veneer. The desktop is birdseye maple and fit with a custom-cut glass panel that matches the cutout design. Two drawers, on either side of the seating well, have brown-painted interiors, and the left drawer has a small pencil tray. Each leg has a cap of polished steel. Condition: Good vintage condition; small cosmetic flaws due to age and use. Dimensions: 84.5" length x 36" depth x 28.75" height; clearance underneath desktop is 26.75" in the seating well.
