Designed in 1951, this model FJ51 or "Delegate Chair" by Finn Juhl and manufactured by Baker Furniture has a delicate walnut frame with slender, sculpted armrests and two peaks behind the backrest. The rounded cushions are upholstered in the original leather, and the seat has a fixed cushion. Frame has a manufacturer's notation on underside reading "FJN 401 1/2." Condition: Partially restored. The walnut frame has been professionally refinished. The original, cream-colored leather upholstery carries an age-appropriate patina and has been hand-cleaned and polished. Dimensions: 30" width x 30" depth x 32.5" height; seat height is 18"; arm height is 25".
