A 1980s Hawaiian studio craft rocking chair and ottoman by Stephen Hynson. The chair and ottoman are made entirely of red oak, with a frame of rounded rails and a seat of closely spaced oak dowels with an ergonomic curve to the backrest. Short arm rests bisect the chair seat. The ottoman is constructed of similar rails and dowels. Unsigned. Condition: Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished.
