A set of four dining chairs in solid maple from Paul McCobb's iconic Planner Group, manufactured from 1950-1964 by Winchendon Furniture. The chair, model #1531, takes its basic inspiration from a Windsor chair, with a low spindle back of tapered dowels supporting a curved backrest. The seat rests atop four tapered legs and is inlaid with four oversize wooden screw motifs. We have a second set of Planner Group chairs available with six chairs. Condition: Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished and hand-oiled. Dimensions: 17" width x 19.75" depth x 29.5" height; seat height is 17".
